Wiper blade chatter

My OEM wiper blades started to chatter after they had been working for a few minutes in heavy rain. I changed them for a set of Bosch blades, but they still chatter while removing water. I've already cleaned the windshield with vinigar and then with a cleaner many times, but no better. Any ideas welcome.

did the "chattar" get worse with the bosch blades? mine did that sometimes but not bad, then i get refills and they were fine.

I got some silicone wipers that work great and don't chatter.

Have the same here. I thought it was because I used that rain-x washer fluid stuff. Never noticed it until I had used it a while. Then the blades started bunny hopping across my window when there isnt a ton of water to wipe. I tried cleaning them and the window etc but still nothing.

I think they could use a replacement anyhoo so mabye that will hep.

the silicone ones are really expensive....I forgot which company had a 5 years warranty on them. if anything happens during the 5 year period they will repalce them no question asked. But Silicone is definenately the way to go.

In light rain and when I spray wash the windshield they're fine. The problem starts when we have average rain for more than 3 minutes. Why? I don't know. It's really strange. Bosch are supposed to be the best.

I have the same problem, it’s not the wiper blades it’s the wiper linkage. If you have them on high it’s not that bad, on low it not smooth it jumps across the window
