New at this: I need member's HELP!!!
Ok. I acquired a pair of fiberglass side skirts for my 2-dr 01' EX. I think they are Octane. Anyways, they look primered and ready for paint. I noticed there are no mouting holes though.
Question 1: Should i test/ready fit it to my car before I have it painted?
Question 2: What do I use to mount this thing...other than screwing it to wheel well areas? Is there any mounting below? Is 3M double sided tape recommended?
Thanks in advance for any one that can help me here. PM me or email to cbr600jeff2@aol.com.

Don't tape it. . Make some holes. .
But once you make the holes be sure that you're gonna leave the kit otherwise it'll look fugged up when you take it off.
Have them painted before they are put on the car, unless you are worrried about messing them up during the install.
***edit*** (after I get reamed for my inexperience below....... )
This is just what I would do, definately test the peices first and foremost. What I meant by my previous comment was that you should paint them before the install, I didn't mean to make it sound like you should just start drilling holes without knowing how the kit fits first.
Second, the only reason I disapprove of the tape is because I know someone that used the tape and one day the tape decided it wasn't going to work anymore and part of his kit took a concrete dive and messed it up, so just in MY OPINION, the tape is unreliable, but that could be because of the temperature extremes in this area that the tape isn't as effective.

^ That is probably the worst advise Ive ever heard. You will regret it if you do not test fit the side skirts. You ALWAYS test fit body kit components before you have them painted. Also, do not drill holes in your car. You drill holes in each end of the side skirts and mount in the wheel wells. Fot the side under the door, use 3M double sided tape. make sure it is 3M brand, other brands suck. If you still dont feel safe, you can have a body shop put pop rivets on the inside of your door.
I think this is a classic case of experience. Look at the modifications on TunedNCivic's ride vs. pheaton's.

Thank you all for bashing me there. . lol.
I guess I didn't explain myself fully, please check my edit.
Civicious you shouldn't judge me because of the lack of mods on my Civic, you don't have any idea what I've done in the past or what experience I have. I do agree with you though in that you should get a variety of opinions and be more trusting toward those who have actually accomplished what you are trying to do.
TunedNCivic, thank you for making some clarificaitons for me, especially where you should and should not drill and the appropriate places to use the tape if you are going to use tape.

IMO the double sided tape works awesome. One key to making it stick real well is to use a degreaser where the tape will be and also use whats sometimes called double sided tape primmer, or side moulding primmer. It can be found at most all body shop supply stores. The bad side to doing it the proper way as i described is once you push it to the car it WONT be coming off easily!
