The city of Mississauga owes me huge, I plowed Eglinton for free from Highway 10 to Erin Mills Parkway the night of the huge dump!

haha, I hear you guys!

I hate that sound of scraping too. Im afraid its going to rip my catback exhaust right off the car. The conditions in Barrie suck ***! I am constantly dodging huge frickin ice chunks on the road. Im afraid that one day its gonna crack my front end. I love Canada but I hate all this snow.

KW region is the same story. my poor little car is plowing through the roads everytime there's snow. i don't even wanna imagine what it'd be like if i had my lip on. my exhaust is virtually submerged in snow/slush/water every friggin day & night. *sigh* when is spring going to come?....

I too am dodging the ice chucks on the road like Nitehawk. But my biggest fear is the potholes on the highway. They come out of no where too. Just when I think I have them all memorized there is a new one. I swear to GOD its like navigating thru a mine field becasue if I hit one of these there will be serious problems.

don't you people ever learn!? BUY A WINTER BEATER IF YOU'RE CAR IS LOWERED!

i haven't lowered my car yet but if or when i do there's no f*cking way i'm driving it in winter. which is one reason why i HATE snow and winter weather in Ontario. i would move down to Miami or Florida but the only problem is that i'm a poor bastard and can't afford it.

reasons not buying a winter beater:

1. no room (we have 4 cars already)
2. insurance (cuz my insurance on my civic is annually and cant take it off and i dont know if they sell insurance for 4-5 months during the winter for the beater)
3. what u going to do with the beater in summer? chuck it or keep it?
4. cars are meant to be driven all year around, if u store a car vs driving a car all the time, the car being stored will have more problems than the one that is being driven all the time

and the list goes on and on

Popkorn should not be trusted
As long as you're careful not to go full speed into a snow bank or curb, your kit/lip should be fine if it was installed well.

I drove around last winter in a delsol with race springs and a fiberglass buddy club body kit, perfectly fine.

I drove around this winter in a 2k1 civic lowered with sports and a mugen fiberglass lip, totally fine, I plowed the snow with my car, hit a few curbs when parking, the lip stayed intact. I ended up breaking it going into one of those Canadian Tire car washes with the super high rail. But winter driving wise, it's fine.

smokedcivic has a little shameless behaviour in the past
hey iAMFOB as for the storing car idea, its not bad for the car if you still maintain it over the storing period, but if you don't maintain it will cause problems, just start the car for like 10 minutes, rev it a bit then turn it off do it at least once a week so the battery doesn't die.

RW_blaze: i have a sedan with neuspeed sports and i think it is exactly as they said 1.75 front and 1.5 drop in rear
but prepare to see /---\ in your rear tires but i am used to it and dont care no more and i hardly have more than 3 ppl in my car so no problem on camber wear

and i will get back to u on the spark plugs, what's the part number anyway?

Hey RW, i have the neuspeed sports on my sedan and it is nice and low. Only thing is i think it's lower in the rear now. Not sure why. They are guaranteed not to sag. I had a massive 112 lb sub box in my trunk which may have caused a lot of stress on the springs but when i took the box out for the winter, my *** end went right up. Now over the last 3 to 4 weeks i've noticed my *** end getting lower. Talked to Neuspeed, and they said most likely it's my bumpstops. Gotta get them checked out i guess. Not horribly low in the rear, but it's lower than the front, whichi is not right. Other than that, the ride is still good.

LOL IAMFOB i forgot what part number again.. check back on my original FS post... i remembah replying to ur question about the part number there...
yeah looking forward in seeing my new drop... i bought SPC rear camber kit for only 120 at my work so i have no worries about camber wear...
what im worried about is that will it sag like what aprboy is saying, and i got 215/45r/17 tires on my rims... 215? will they rub?

nope dont think it will rub
but if u have a full house with summer rims and lower, it might
but when u are lower, u will automatically drive no more than 3-4 ppl
well at least it became a habit for myself
