SRS Unit
Has anyone replaced their SRS Unit? My SRS light has been on for a while and yesterday I took my car to the dealer and they said the SRS Unit has gone bad (yay...). I was just curious if anyone has replaced their own and what should I look out for. Thanks !
I have the same problem with my SRS light. I was running some wires for my amp and I took the seats out to get under the carpet and when I put them back and started my car, the SRS light stayed on.
Is there a possibility it could be just a bad fuse?
I checked the fuse labeled for SRS, but it looked good.
I had a fuse problem with my radio, where the radio fuse was good, but something labled as BACKUP was the burned fuse. I replace it and the radio started working again.

Have you reset the SRS light? Also there are some sensors under the seats for the SRS system and you might want to check that again to make sure they are connected and there is no damage to the sensor. If all else fails take it to the dealer and they will be able tell you whats wrong for $45.
