stock shift **** twists around

the stock shift **** on my '03 ex 5 spd tends to twist around clockwise and counterclockwise under normal driving. does this happen to anyone else and is there a way to fix it?

Mine did that as well. I just replaced it with a tasteful aftermarket shift ****.

....and by the way, finding a "tasteful" aftermarket shift **** took me about 8 hours of searching through ugly crap (ie.. neon crap, metal crap, tachy crap, painted crap, plastic crap......)

01civicboi is correct. Just pull down on the little circular piece holding the boot to the ****. Then just twist the **** tighter. Dont worry if it seems too tight, just put it to the correct position then put the boot back on and you should be done with slippery, circulating shift *****.

If you want to get another **** that works with you boot perfectly, get the base RSX shift ****. I have it and it's great becuase it's much shorter than the stock civic ****.
