Rumbling in the Rain - get yours FIXED

-I have an 01 LX sedan and i've had the vibrations that are felt during wet weather...usually after driving through a puddle or in the slush/snow...

-went to ACTION HONDA (Morningside and Kingston Rd.) in Scarborough

-The service advisor J.C.(his initials..u can figure out which guy he is when u go there) gave me trouble denying there are any real issues or that this problem even existing...stating that in the 3 years my car has been out...he hasn't fixed one...or even heard of this problem...obviously i think to myself...YEAH RIGHT...

-he didn't want to look at the service bulletin that i had printed out stating the problem with the midpipe when wet...

-i also explained to him it only happened when WET...he still insisted on having my car driven around in completely dry weather and road conditions to try to hear the sounds

-even blamed my aftermarket shocks/springs

-after arguing with him i spoke to the mechanic that took my car out showed him a print-out of the service bulletin linked below and he looked it up in the system and found the bulletin rather quickly.

-told me they would order the parts...which didn't arrive till almost 9 business days and 2 phone calls later...

-so finally today and two hours of waiting my mid-pipe was replaced under warranty...good thing its done cuz so is my warranty as of yesterday...

So anyone with this same problem...bring ur car to ACTION HONDA and pay a visit to J.C. and have him fix ur mid-pipe and let him know that this problem EXISTS!!

Print out the Service Bulletin HERE!

Really, they said you have too many aftermarket parts? Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? Kinda surprising since Formula Honda sells all kinds of aftermarket parts in its parts dep't (or at least it used to, haven't been there in awhile).

i haven't had this problem prior to putting on my catback. even when i put it on, i was thinking to myself that the midpipe was too close to the front sway.... in my case, once water hits the midpipe, it rattles against the sway..... not sure if that's the case with all others with this prob.....
