Sway bar and tie bar question
Sway bar and tie bar question
why is it necessary to install a rear lower tie bar when installing a bigger rear sway bar. does the tie bar really matter because its attached to an already solid piece (control arm brace), any info would help thanks.

if you get a rear anti sway bar over 20mm it's recommended to get a tie bar so that you don't damage the crossmember and/or rip your subframe.Thats what i hear. Anyway its not necessary. imo.

the frame could probably get away with a 22mm bar as the CTR and ITR both have 22mm stock bars. It is just a precaution.

They have tiebars integrated into the frame. There's a reinforcement similar to the neuspeed one thats factory installed to the rear arm mounting frame.

as much as I like saving $$$, I also belive in "you get what you pay for" and risking my car/suspension just so I could save $50 isnt worth it to me.

Plus the added subframe will increase your chassis stiffness, which is always a good thing....get the subframe with the bar.... I think i'll be getting the comptech bar sometime in the next few months... I CAN'T WAIT!@!
