Need Help With Trunk - Attn: Audio People

OK, a while ago i was forced to tear apart my trunk, but i never put it back together. it used to look like this:

but now it looks like this:

i want a clean installation, nothing crazy, with only the subs showing, and the N20 between the subs, and rear seats, hidden.

do you anyone who can do this for under a g? im paying out of pocket for a hit and run, among other things, any help would be appreciated.

Here is what im working on in my trunk. I havnt finished the box yet. I havent decided if i want to paint it to match the body color or do something different. Ive got about $200 in fiberglass and stuff just for the box. I made the amp rack out ofsome scrap wood. I prolly have hmmmm maybe 10 hours or so into the box but that was spread out over like 3 weeks. Fiberglas and all takes awhile. You'll notice where the bottle is mounted? had to make a new floor under the carpet there to support the bottle.

Sorry to jack your thread, but im also looking for suggestions/ideas on how to finish the box? paint, bed liner, vinyl(puke), Fabric(not too keen on), or any other ideas?

if you want it to look "clean" carpet is the only way to go. otherwise itll look like a cluster**** of finished surfaces. charcoal carpet will match the floor, right side, and back of the seats.

i would 69 the stock floor panel and make your own..then make a panel for the other side to hide the wheelwell and display the amps. If your on budget....carpet is the way to go..if you have some cash but not a ho lot then vnly..if your Mr. balla balla then cf or paint...now thats the ticket right there...you can always make a back panel for the seats

lol furbie.......... i couldnt pass it up on the price being DVC cast basket. It dont sound half bad either. Its far from HIGH quality. But for a sub it does the job for me I used to have all old school soundstream. infact i have 2 of my old soundstream 15's in the wifes ride

the reason id shy away from anything other than carpet or paint is that right side panel. the floor would be totally easy to do, so would the sub box, carpet vinyl, or paint, and good call on the back of the seats! also that stock panel to cover the latch gets covered easily enough.

but the side panel? its flimsy carpet! i tried to glass over mine once (granted it was one of my first glass projects ever) and it was nothing but a headache. To recover the entire trunk in vinyl or paint would involve some heavy duty work on that right side panel! not just easy trace and cut like the floor or the back seats.

Unless youve got an easy way of doing it, id love to know
