door popper install question

i have a trunk popper solenoid laying around and i was considering installing it as a door popper for the drivers side. unfortunately, i have used all the available channels on my alarm. i am ok with it being hooked up in such a fashion that it pops every time i unlock the doors. Is it ok to just piggyback the relay onto the alarm disarm output? will this allow ample time for the door to unlock before it is popped? also, is there another possible solution such as pressing the disarm once to disarm and twice to pop without using another channel (normally progressive unlocking on my alarm uses channel four which is used by my underbody and in car lighting). please help.

LudlamTheory is an unknown quantity at this point
ever think of getting a channel expander?
or
they sell these 4 button remotes at autozone that basically just controls 4 relays but has no alarm for like 30 dollars

good idea but

good idea, will have to look into that later as i will probably need it. what i think i have decided to do is use the input from my accessory power socket in place of channel four on the alarm while also installing a on/off switch for when i dont want them on. this will allow them to be on with the domelight and whenever the car is running (provided switch is on) then i will switch channel 4 to progressive unlocking and attach the output lead to the door popper. this works out well as i dont use my neons too often. thanks for the help.

oh, if anyone has any other ideas for what i could do that wouldyeild similar results please reply.
