^^ That's good advice. A camber kit is always a good idea however if you don't have the $$ to spare don't worry about it unless you go lower than 1.75". A 2" or lower drop will require a Camber kit. I wish I could find my slip from my original alignment when I had the springs installed. The numbers explain alot. If I can find them I'll post 'em up.

I'm telling ya, i Used to have only 1" drop with the pro-kit and I wish I would have spent the 150ish to get the camber kits, because I had to spend over 500 for new tires, no joke! When I got my new tires, I installed the camber kits and got an alignment, drove all summer and my tires look like brand new!

^^^ alot is better^^^
MMMM camber..............
seriously, if you are going for tire longevity, get one and set it to the stock settings....
If you want better handling.... get a camber kit and get as much Negitive camber you can out of it. (on the front that is, the rear will have Less)

Been lowered close to 2 years, aligned right after the springs. checked again in like 5 weeks was still in alignment. then got my 18's. Re-checked alignment was barely out on front and rear camber. Did both kits and this was like 2 months ago.

getting an alignment after putting springs on is a waste of money... id only get an alignment done if the car swerves when u let go of the wheel or when ur driving straight and the steering wheel isnt..

Did I say I only got the car alligned once? I should have said, once for the springs and three more times for each occasion that my feckin struts blew out! I got the '04's in it now so I haven't had any problems but I'll have to do it again in the spring when my KW's go in.

I have an 2001 EX Coupe and I got it lowered with tein s tech springs.
The steering wheel turns when I let go of the wheel. Is it because it isn't aligned?I cant even relax when I drive because I have to hold the steering wheel so hard....of course I am getting stronger.LOL.
Anyone have any Ideas?
BTW anyone know how low the springs settle at?

If the car is sterring to one side or the other when you let go of the steering wheel here are some possible causes.
1. Tire is low on Air pressure
2. Tire is bad and is causing it to pull
3. Alignment is off and needs set
4. power steering is bad and is assisting when it shouldnt
5. Brake is dragging on one side severly
I would start with checking the air pressure and alignment. These are the most likely causes.
Good Luck

mine has been lowered for a year and i get it aligned everytime i switch from stock to rims and i had it done when it was first lowered, so i have had it aligned 3 times going on 4 soon.
you NEED an aligment. this is what your tires will look like. im dropped 3 inches and now i got an aligment my tires are perfectly straight. i drive to miami, daytona, ect. for car shows and those are pretty far distances and pretty soon my tires would be bald. get an alignment. its only 100 bucks.
