Clear Corners Illegal?

If I were to clear my corners, would that be illegal? I heard, but have not confirmed, that California law requires a front side reflector that is yellow. If this is the case, then is there any way I can clear my headlights, but add a small refelctor on the side of the headlamp, kinda like how the TYC reflector is placed? Thanks.

No not the front. At lest I havn't been notified of it from any police officers I know of. The rear must be amber/yellow, or red. But cannot be clear, because it looks like your reverse light, or any other color. The front must be clear or amber/yellow. Mine have been cleared for over 2 years now.

It is NOT illegal to clear headlights. As long as you have an anber bulb as a turn signal. And what he ^^^ said about the tails.

What about this: "Incorrect color of turn signal. It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC)." [taken from CHP site]. It says that I can have a white signal, and it doesn't have to be amber.
Do you mean that I must have something yellow in the front, whether it be a turn signal or a relector?

TopFuel will become famous soon enough
as long as you EMIT the legal colors...you're fine. they cant do anything to you if you just have a clear corner....its only if you have it blinking or on with an illegal color.

You can have a clear bulb as your blinker in the front. According to police I've talked too. If you get a A$$ of a cop, then he can site you, but it will probably be dismissed in court. Mine has been cleared for over 2 years with clear turn signal, and I have never been cited for one. Maybe just lucky. You choice. But the rear must be red or yellow/amber.

I was all paranoid at first too, but go ahead. I've had it cleared for almost a year now.. I've been pulled over, but nothing was said about the cleared headlights.
