How to look for used car
Not needing anything just yet, but will need to look for one next year. After some considerations, I have decided to leave my 01 at home and to my brother. Complicated considerations about ownership, insurance, and family that I won't get to here.
Long story short, will need to get a $5k~$7k car (which is all I can afford while getting into a new mortgage) as a weekend commute.
Right now, considering either a 94~95 4dr (ugh, yes, 4dr cheaper insurance) Accord or a 96~97 Civic hatch (which will definitely itch my modaholic side), both fall into that price range with reasonable mileage.
So, my question is, what are the considerations for getting a used car, anyone got any hookups? I'll have to start looking in May or so, maybe even earlier, depending on when I get together my funds.
