aw maaaan...dissing my trim kit...I'm crushed!

I have my reasons though...so many comments about the paint coming off scared me away from painting. So i got the ebay trim kit, which is a big POS. It looks better than stock, so I can't complain...much. I do get a lot of positive comments about it. But if I had to do it over, I'd paint it with that plasti-kote silver like I did the exterior trim.

naw man, no dissin from me! like I said, I used to have an ebay kit too. but that wsa before I knew about this site and reading about spraypainting the trim instead.

I ordered a spray can of matched Rallye Red paint from a store online (found the link in one of the threads here). Sadly I didn't work up the ***** to spray the outer trim last summer I really wanna get my ugly ugly black doorhandles matched.

CelCUs is an unknown quantity at this point
Does anybody have a picture of where they got the main power from? I'm not sure which wire i should tap into or if i should just run it straight from the battery.

wow sweet diy! Id do it if i only had 2 doors. With four id need two kits! Well maybe before the summer i can muster up some cash to do it. Would definately be a sweet mod to do! Good job!
edit:also do you know how much power the motors have? Cuz in canada alot of the time the windows can be hard to crank cuz of the ice and stuff. Do you think they would be powerfull enough to still open the windows. Thanks alot!

If I remember correctly, it's the white wire with the red stripe. Test it first to make sure it's a switched power. If you want the windows to work w/o the switch turned on, you'll have to find a constant power somewhere.

Four doors wouldn't really be any harder, but they'd take twice as long to mount and wire up. If you wanted the switches like a conventional 4-door, you'd need a total of 7 switches and some small mounting pods for all of them. Look on Spal's website for pics of all their pods.

Here's a few styles they have:
Flush mount

Modern pull-up style

Pod-mounted style
