question on zex nitrous bottle placement

ok if anyone has this kit...well any kit with the regular 10lb bottle they send you can answer this for me. i haven't got my kit yet but i'm about too and before i do i want to know if there is enough room in the spare tire well to mount the bottle, leave in the tire, and still have clearence room for the trunk board thing to sit normally so it' not resting on the bottle or nothin. i want to put it there for 2 reasons: 1)it's purple man, and i ain't payin extra for the polished bottle 2) i want it to be a secret becuase : (1) my friends won't know unless i say somethin, so they can't mess with it (2) my dad would kill me and since he never looks to check, because he thinks i won't, but if you open the trunk and there's a no2 bottle right there he's gonna be like what the fvck.

I'm pretty sure it won't fit. There's not a lot of room in there with the tire in place. You could put the bottle sideways against the back seat and put up a grey carpeted board on the back side so no one could see it. Seems like a lot of work though.

If the color bugs you, sand it and paint it to match your car. Then you can tell your dad it's just an aftermarket coolant overflow tank.

yeah but still i wish it could be hidden so if opened my trunk you wouldn't see a tank right there and i don't think any one is dumb enough to think it's something else

buy a bazooka tube (sp?) nos- look alike sub, and then mount it right next to the zex one and tell him all they had were one blue and one purple left lol, ps- the nitrous tanks bottom should be lower than the valve if you want it to work correctly, so im thinking that you should mount it somewhere (like on the side of the trunk floor) and then build a subwoofer box around it and make the top a quick release (so you can fill it easily) and no one will be the wiser! good luck man.

mount it in your trun and cut holes in a duffle bag or something so the brackets can go through and then zip it up over the bottle

or mount it and then buy a cheap tool box and cut the bottom out of it and slide it down over the top!!
