help on removing pocket under stock headunit
i need help on removing the pocket under the stock headunit. for my 2k3 ex there is a pocket under my headunit. and i was wondering how can i remove it. i saw the DIY for removing the whole center piece, but i dun want to remove the whole thing. i just want to remove the pocket for some other purpose. please help me

how do i remove the whole cd player console? is it in the DIY section, if it is. i tried it, but the instruction is kinda vague, i didn't know how to do it. so plz help

like civicvtec1ps said, you have to remove the entire center console. with the 03's you have to start way down by the shifter and remove all of the trim that holds in the base of the dash to the center console. that will expose the 2 screws holding the center dash console in place. the rest is just friction clips.

and yes, there are kits that will allow you to keep the factory pocket with aftermarket radio. metra part # 99-7899.

yea i went to do it today, but i realize there is 4 screw holding the piece, instead of 4 clips. so i guess i need to take the whole center off in order to do wt i need to do. i just want to remove the pocket under the headunit, so i can put something else in that slot , like a switch panel or etc. cus the 2 whole next to the lighter plug, i dunno wt switch to use to fit them and also how to wire them
