Question Nuespeed sport springs, or Tein S?

Probally a newbie question.. but how many of you lease and modified your suspension. The only suspension mod I want to do is Tein Sport springs or Nuespeed Sport.. after I get 17's.. other wise my car would look ridiculous. I just was wondering if the dealer gave you any b.s. etc..

Thanks

Nate

i would not lower if you are leasing. You have the chance of blowing you shocks. Unless you do a complete swap (ie full coilovers) it won't be worth it. but that is just me.

Do you think even a small drop like 1.5" will have an effect of the oem struts.. What if I only used them in summer and put my stocks on in the winter.

I really want rims.. but theres no point if its going to look jacked up.

yes a 1.5 drop will effect your oem shocks. When you return the car they might be either compromised or busted. It depends on a multitude of factors on if they will blow or not. The will definitely lose some of their quality though.

What aftermarket shocks would be reccomended for a 1"-1.5" drop? Thinking about Eibach pro kit.

Hey STEALTH CIVIC, I've got an '01 EX sedan and i found some decent 15s at discount tire direct's site,on thier E-bay site. I know they're not 16s or 17s but it beats the hell out of stock rims, and changes the look of the car. Just a thought, I'm ballin' on a budget, and I like my gas milage.

i have a coupe.. and im running on 17in. w/ 205/45/17
i have no drop in it at the moment.. still waiting for my suspension to be delivered

click on 'my ride' and you'll see how it looks like with 17in. rims on a stock suspension.

Aznsaint.. looks really good man.. interior is sweet.

I think I will get 17's without lowering it..

Would 205/45/17 make it lower that 40?

thx

45profile will look slightly a lil' bigger.. and can protect your rims a lil' more ... if you were to say that you ran over a pothole that you didnt see. but of course, that will also depend on the quality of your rims.

and imo, it's the closest match for 17in. rims is with 205/45/17 tires without screwing up your speedometer
