Tranny Issues !!!! NEED HELP!!!

Ok well I have been fighting with Honda to fix my tranny, but they refuse to because of my mods. I told them about that law and they just blew me off. So now I am just tring to get my car fixed cheaper then what they are telling me. They want $3000 to fix it, whats wrong is that I have a bent shift fork which grinded most of the gear away. I looked on line and found a new tranny for my HX for $1400 at a local shop in phx. But what I would rather do is just get the one I have now rebuilt does anyone know of a good shop in the valley.(I'm in the far east valley but I am willin to drive anywhere.....)

You really need to go to another Honda dealer first before you shell out that kind of money. They are really being extremely strict and just maybe another local Honda dealer will not be as strict. It is mos def worth a try before you shell out that kind of money. Best of luck, that is absurd what Honda of Mesa is telling you.

the only problem with taking the car to another dealer is that the tranny is still out of the car all apart. there is a lift on the engine just to hold it up. So taking the car somewhere is a little hard. I am so tired of fighting with them that I am thinking of trading it in for a 99' Passat GLS 1.8T that they have at the dealership....but I just paid $150 to have my highflow cat and cat-back put on 2 days before my gear went out. THIS SUXS I HATE HONDA.
