Intake concerns

I have a 03 Civic si and I just installed an injen intake into my car. and i was wondering that if ne of u guys had ne problems after installing an intake. Im getting a wierd smell fom my car after i drive it. its kind of smells like burnt rubber. Can ne of u guys temm me what it might be?

It just needs time to break in. New stuff always smells for a week or two.

I had that problem..smelt funny just check the filter tho..I had problems whetre my entire filter broke right off 2 times..3rd time finally got it right..lolz..Had to get a different filter..But check it..

thanks guys. i think it might be the filter. it was preoiled. so i guess i gotta wait untill its gone, by the way, how far r u supposed to push the filter onto the pipe?

is it a shopping bag burned and stuck on your exhaust...cause it happened to me. especially with an aftermarket full-back exhaust.
