03 civic HX vs. civic EX

what would win between a stock hx auto with CVT and a EX auto with intake, lighter 15' rims, and really good tires!

Don't know about the 7th gens, but my friend has a 6th gen with cvt and his car was much faster than my ex. You can't even feel it shift, and you can keep it near redline.

Why does this not make sence to you? HX is optimized for even BETTER fuel economy than the DX LX or EX.

you should seriously think about switching cars if you wanna race. You're asking questions that if you actually raced you would know. Racing auto civics is pointless. You'll need turbo or n20 o even think about racing and even then you'll still need manual to get any kinda real speed.
