enging makin weired sound

enging makin weired sound when i shift at 3,000 rpms my car makes a whining noise only from like between 3,000 to 3,300 rpms if its below 3,000 or higher than 3,400 it doesnt make that nosie
does anyone know what it could be causin this. its annoying and im gettin tired of hearin it any info would be a big help
