Review of Lockdown Security & Compustar 2WFM-AS
Replaced the shitty dealer installed alarm ($300 option) and went to Lockdown Security (McCowan/Sheppard). Got an awesome price of $640, authorized, goverment certified installer. I've shopped around, the typical price is around $550. I needed to get the bypass module, and a relay/harness for the rear hatch, so it came out to $640 taxes in. Installation was very nice, neat & profressional. The alarm is great, got to love the remote starter and the long range transmitters. Lockdown Security for all your alarm needs. *In no way affiliated with mentioned shop*
i thought you hate your CRV to gut? cuz u posted how much problems u got on your truck and want to get rid of it or something?
why spent so much on a car you dont like driving and give u so much headache?

I love driving it, just hate the problems it gives. The main reason for this was to get the long range remote starter. I could care less if the car got stolen, infact that would be so cool. But for now, stuck with it (contacted CAMVAP, hopefully arranging a buyback). My dad leaves for work 6AM in the morning, its really cold and going to get worse, so I helped paid half of it to have the convenience for my dad so he does not need to go out and warm the car.
The CR-V is fun to drive, just not fun to own.
