wait till winter is over or drop it?

i got a full urethane body kit all the way around, full front bumper, sides and full rear. i got 215/45/17 tires. so should i get the springs and konis, or should i do coilovers and konis so i can adjust it cuz of winter or just wait til winter is over and just get full coilovers or something? any ideas. by the way, im in the northeast. so yes we get snow and yes its daily driven.

hey welcome to my world. lol take off the body kit, put the stock wheels on and drive it through the winter. After winter hopefully you'll have enough money for coilovers and go with em. Put all the stuff back on and feel the difference.

you can keep your bodykit but i would lower it before winter. well i did. because suspension parts gets rusty as hell after one winter so i decided to drop for now. depends how much you are willing to spend. you could just get sleeved coilovers for this winter and buy shocks during spring.

i'd say wait...but that's just me. if you end up having problems (like me), its gonna suck, especially with winter weather and ESPECIALLY if you cant get it fixed ASAP and you have to baby it around everywhere.

thank goodness no more snow in hawaii hehe, i'd worry about pushing snow. Only thing to worry about is the damn big a$$ pot holes and bumpy a$$ road conditions.

i should lower before winter, consider that i also park outside, i dont garage it and its a daily driver. should i lower it. if i do lower, its gonna be a full setup, not just springs. i was thinking b&g's or should i go springs and konis. my friend said the coiovers would be so bouncy and not a good ride cuz he switched to springs. opinions?

yes you should lower it. its up to you, fullcoilover doesnt bounce. maybe your friend is talking about sleeved coilovers with stock shocks. i would go with fullcoilovers if you can afford them. koni yellow front installation sucks. you need to hack it hehe

I would wait and get the full coilovers. But that is just me. No snow or anything in LA. Just pot holes and floods.

Yea, if I were you just wait until after winter. Till then, you can save up and buy something else for your car. Unless you do get B&G or Tein SS then you can just adjust them when you want. But, if your getting lowering springs, id personally wait.
