adjust stock shocks???

i just got my dropzone coilovers and i know they're not the best but i dont give a f*** i just got these to lower it until i can get some good ones. i was wondering if i need to do anything to the stock shocks/struts before i put them on??

just as a warning, dont drop your car too low cause i know alot of people who have blown their shocks using sleeved coilovers. i plan on getting ground controls installed but only dropping it 2" max.
if you really want to slam it tho, your going to have to cut the front perch.

you should be able to drop it 2" without cutting the perch...
the perch is what the spring normally sits on. since sleeved coilovers uses the threaded body and has the perch on it, you dont need the stock perch(well just a little part of it). the stock perch gets in the way of the threaded body making it hard to adjust down to like 4" so you cut it
