now i'm not one to race my car on the streets, i personally think it's dangerous and plus i would hate paying a speeding ticket for going twice the speed limit but...

today after eating dinner with my mom, i was driving when this guy cut in front of the person behind me and started tailgating me. i had no idea what kinda car it was cause it was dark at night and he was so close all i could see was his freaking hood and front window!!!

now this went on for about a minute or so until we finally hit a red light. i still couldnt tell what kinda car it was but i decided that as soon as the light turn green i would gun it to get him off me. well, the light turned green and by the time i shifted to third, i was 3-4 cars ahead of him. he realized that i was gunning my car and so started speeding, and the crazy thing was he was catching up to me FAST, and by the end of third he was 2 car lengths ahead of me. i shut it down at the end of third, and when we finally hit another red light, i looked ahead of me and saw that it was an acura 3.2 tl type s.

and what do you know, as soon as the light turned green he started tailing the person in front of him, cutting off every car in sight, and switching lanes every 3 seconds.

why do the idiots get the expensive cars? blah.

btw, my peformance mods are: revo short shifter, k&n fipk II & hks hipower exhaust, i'll be getting a hp racing header in couple months (though i dont know how much help that'll give me against another type s )

uh, don't get the hks if you want an exhaust. I don't know why everyone wants that ... you're not getting much of a performance upgrade from getting an axle-back exhaust ...

but yeah ... that dude was an idiot...

when i'm in that situation, i go as slow as i can to trap them im...like go the same pace as the car next to you, then he cant go anywhere. its really funny.

ya, and the funny thing is 95% of the time I catch up to them staying put in just one lane. sometimes i just look at them i think to myself, "all that work for nothing?" geez...some people just don't get it.

i got the hks exhaust cause i love the angled look, plus its not too loud. i also read somewhere on here that cat-backs dont do much for our cars anyway and might even take away power?

no...the custom exhaust definately doesn't take away power.

I've had plenty of mustangs run up on my tail after I casually pass them. If they don't back down pretty quick I'll slow down to about 60 then drop it into 3rd and let them feel the power of the I-VTEC. imp:
