Need help with suspension

Okay...I'm always confused about suspension. If I get sleeved coilovers or lowering springs, do I need to buy shocks? I don't really feel like spend $1,000 in buy true coilovers since I don't have a job right now so if I get Ground Control coilovers or Tein S.Tech, do i need to buy shocks??

it's better to buy shocks with springs or sleeved coilovers but you really don't have to though!! I'm still on stock shocks with goldlines but will be getting Koni's pretty soon cause my front left one is going out!!

I gotta friend with ground controls and he's on stock shocks and his are fine!! it all depends on the road conditions and stuff!! Do you like to hit alot of pot holes ? hahaha

if you put that much stress on stock shocks, there is a point where they will blow. It could be 1 day or years before it happens. It depends on a multitude of factors. it is not necessary to get them immediately but you will need them evetually
