I think some other people had this problem too ... I think it was in tech a while back.

Gonna move this there anyways.

er..

it should be only 13 to 17 lbs. ft of torque.

make sure u use metric socket/wrench... its 10mm I believe.

get some WD40 and spray into it... and let it sit for 10 minute or so.

it may help.

Most of the bolts on my car are rusted right on and the car is only 2 years old. WD40 (a lot of it) worked finally to get them off but did end up stripping (or breaking off rather) the one bolt- you can just get another at the hardware store.

Thankfully I didn't strip mine, but they took a LOT of effort to loosen. Lots of Liquid Wrench did the trick. Now mine is all painted but I have to do it again...damn engine heat!!!

GreenNVicious can only hope to improve
When i changed my header, i just used WD40 and let it soak it (as already mentioned). I think the header bolts are worse, especially the 1 by the alternator

HA.. you guys things those bolts are tight, wait until you have to loosen the bolts on the back of the brake calipers.... (if you plan on doing your own brakes)

if it gets to bad get a torch, heat up the bolt, then get some channel locks, clamp the channel locks on while its hot, then try to losen it, either that or give it a water displacement trial 40 shower!!
