Need A New Transmission!!!

Alright well heres my problem my transmission has gone from bad to worse i had the problem of the transmission grinding into third at high rpms, that was a month ago, next it was grinding into second as well.....and finally it was popping out of second gear now it just wont even engage into second gear all i heard is a grindng galore..so im in the process of either rebuilding my transmission or replacing it completely with a used one....btw i already went to honda and they wanted $500 just to tear it down and then look to see where the problem was....i live in south florida and i was wondering if anyone knows whats the best way to handle this

Interesting... are you still under warranty? Leaking any fluids? Check the transmission fluid? Your transmission shouldn't crap out on you like that so early. Maybe if you have an obscene amount of miles on it already. I had a problem like that in my old car but I bought it used and it had almost 100k miles on it. The problem I had was that it had basically no transmission fluid in it at all.

What about that TSB for 2nd gear popping out? Will that help you build a case to get Honda to fix it for you or are you out of warranty?
