Ground Controls qualityor crap???

well i saw and add for some ground control coilovers for $300. they are technically made by Eibach but $300 sounded REALLY low for coilovers.

are they just not "true" coilovers. i dont really know the difference between sleeved and true so feel free to explain.

anyway i was just wondering if they were quality or crap so any opinions........

thanks

They aren't made by eibach they just use eibach springs. Sleeved coilovers do not have a shock, true coilovers do. So if you were to get the GCs then you would need to buy shocks also. In terms of sleeved coilovers, GC and Skunk2 make the best for our cars.

True coilovers > Sleeved Coilover

There are many reasons one of them being sleeved coilovers are way to bouncy for me.

Save the money and invest in some great suspension, you won't be upset.

the suspension faq covers it.. http://www.7thgencivic.com/modules.p...ension+FAQ#110

basically sleeved coilover goes over your stock shocks and true coilovers come with their own. thats why there's such a big price difference. one comes with shock(designed to work with the spring) and the other doesnt.. they are both height adjustable. sometimes true coilovers are damper adjustable...
