Put the Resistor 2 Ohm into each pair of srs harness pin as shown on pic.
Myself put 2.2 Ohm bought from Fry Electronic work Fine

Why did you do that there is no point when you get a JDM wheel, it has an air bag and will work, so all you are doing is making your air bag not work. i would only do that if i had a wheel with no air bag and harnesses and racing buckets

i believe although it has an airbag.. it wont just hook up and work.
gotta take it to the dealer to have them program it.
and have them charge u an arm and a leg.
its not plug and play, last I check.

It's 2.0 Ohms.
The JDM air bag is one stage airbag so it come with 2 wires.
But USDM airbag is two stage come with 4wires .
Yes you can use the JDM airbag and it's work but the light still on because the srs unit not found the 2nd stage.
I beleive If you connect jdm airbag to the car and put 2 ohms resistor on the other pair of wires the light should be gone.

well i have an acura 1.7EL, cause i'm from Canada, but it's basically the same as a 7thgencivic, i did all that, i bought a 2.2 ohm resistor and connected it the way you showed...but the srs light is still on, after i plugged it in, do i have to disconnect my battery again and reset the ecu? because we tried many different types of resistors, and none of them worked cause we didn't have the right one's...but the battery was still connected when we plugged them in, we just unplugged the battery for taking off the steering wheel....i don't have an aftermarket airbag, i only have a momo jet steering wheel w/o airbag...
I'm a 1.7el owner and I did that DIY with no problem for that just using the 2.0 ohm resistor then plug in, at the beginning the SRS light still on then I reset the SRS again(in the DIY section), the light vanished!!! Thanks for the DIY!
