Hi I have a problem not a big one just annoying one when ever i turn my head lights on everything else in the car dims and if its during the day when it is raining but still kinda bright i cant even see stuff like my clock what could the possible problems be?

hmmm... weak battery? Are you running additional stuff too like A/C, radio, and stuff like that?

did ya try adjusting the **** on your gauges, you can twist it and turn the lights up and down... or does everything, such as ac light, and cruise, and the lights on the buttons go down as well?

it isnt the battery amd the dimming switch is turned 2 where everything is as bright as it can get so i am guessing it has 2 be the alt becuz it dosnt matter if my ac and my radio is of i could have everything even the engine off and it dims when i turn the head lights on but i know its not the battery becuz i tested a brand new one on it and it didnt effect it at all

maybe its the grounding to the headlights. My dad had a problem sorta like that and the grounding cable for the headlights was loose.

it looked on there tight i am gonna take it up 2 autozone tomarrow and have then test everything and see if thay can figure out what it is hopfuly it isnt a new alt
