Hey guys,
I picked up a used Injen RD CAI and tried installing it tonight.
Everything fit great, up until i tried to install the battery back in. I can't get the bottom tray to sit properly. I didn't get the instructions with it so I have no idea what to do now. I've searched and read that some ppl cut the tray, but I can't convince myself that cutting the tray will let the battery sit any better.
Can anyone with the RD CAI installed shed some light on the situation or post a few pics of what they did to the tray?

Cut the corner off the tray. Then it fits.
Its dark, but lemme see if I can get something to show up.

my friend and i just pushed it down, angled it a bit, and forced the crossbar over the battery. no cutting required. it looks fine.

Boilermaker1: does the battery sit flat or is it on an angle after cutting the tray? for some reason, i don't seem to have that much clearance between the pipe and the tray. i mean, the pipe is touching the fan shroud, and is touching the metal plate the battery tray sits on.
once the bracket for the grounding screw is in, i can't move anything.

Something isn't right. It sounds like you've got it set too far forward. Unbolt the clamps and the bracket in the picture, and push the whole intake towards the firewall. I've got the battery sitting flat, where the tray should be and it all goes back together with ease.
