I've checked and rechecked all of my fuses though! I took it to the dealer and they were like "we're gonna need it for at least a day".. I'm like COME ON! You KNOW how to fix this... you just want me to pay an ish load for labor!

I'm having the same problem, make sure to run a volt meter on those fuses. I eye checked evryone of them but I passed a volt meter and found 2 gone. I'm thinking in both our cases maybe the bulbs if that makes any sense.
The dash harness has two wires for the illumination.
The red/black wire is the illumination on wire.
The red wire is the dash brightness control. If you hooked your radio's illumination wire to this, then you are pretty much screwed.
Some radios have a circuit that goes to ground when the radio is off. This shorts out the circuit and burns it up on the gauge cluster. The only way to fix it is to replace the gauge cluster after you disconnect the wire and connect it to the red/black wire.

Well, i believe thats what i did.. I burnt something up... cuz when i was connecting my stereo, this really nasty smelling smoke started coming out of my air vents.. i've checked, rechecked yada yada the fuses.. so what part # shld i order from honda... I burnt something UP.. its all about that darn dimmer wire that i was playing with... btw it is now wrapped up away from its wire buddies....
lemme know what i gotta do

Mine are still out, I went to Honda and there are 3 bulbs (something like that) behind the cluster, and another 5 I believe were the a/c controls etc. I'd order those bublbs up, but seriously I'm at wits end. I may just give in and bring it over to honda. But it's funny how fast you get use to no gauges. I may just spring up the mula for a new cluster since I don't have a tach.
