Angry scratches on back bumper

so I was backing out and this stupid old lady comes out of nowhere and I end up hitting her. Nothing really happened to her car. And nothing really happened to mine. Just a fender bender. But on the back of my bumber theres scratches and scrapes. Anyone know how to get filled or painted on? cause i dont wanna get it repainted...unless I have too...thanx

Same thing happened to me, but it probably doesn't look as bad as yours might.
I was parked in front of my sister's house over Thanksgiving, and it got windy/rainy, and their neighbor's mailbox fell over on my back bumper, scraping all the way down.
It left black marks, which I'm not sure are "scuffs" or scratched all the way to the plastic.
When I wash my car, it's not even that noticable.

Have you tried to buff it out or anything? How bad is the paint damage?

same here. My bumper is scratch fest. First i have one from me trying to shove a tv in the trunk to some idiot hitting me in the back. Mines pretty deep but if yours are not you can try Meguirs Scratch X.

Same here , to my old ( but noy forgoten ) , Accord.
Try rubbing compound and then Meguirs Swirl Remover #9.
And then wax. ( swirl remover is waterbased )
It might work ,

Only good thing about scatches to the bumper is they won't get worse or rust with time. I had one on my front bumper that I just lightly wet sanded and applied some touch-up paint. When I use the touch-up paint I always use paper match to apply it. Never use the brush as it applies too much and gets all "globby". Tear out a match from the matchbook, dab the paper-torn side in the paint, and apply a small amount of paint to the scratch at a time. Best to apply several times than all at once.
