ok ya'll, quick question:

in a race between the following, who would win:
stock 02 civic Si (thats DOHC, MT, I-Vtec) with good driver


OR


94 Civic HB, SOHC, Non-Vtec, Automatic, sprayin somethin like 35 or 40...somewhere in that region.

what do you think?

i drive the si.
my dude is puttin the nitrous kit on his car sometime in the next week and says he wants to race. i wanted some opinions b.c if i know my stuff like i think i do, i think im gonna win. but, he also thinks that he knows his stuff, and thinks that he will win...i know theres no tellin until we actually race, but again, i just want some opinions.

i actually think it will be pretty close. if he has decent tires the nitrous' torque boost should give him a decent start even with an auto tranny. i think the SI will win once u get into 3rd tho, ive heard they pull pretty hard there.

it will be very close. HB are very light and with the nitrous he almost makes the same power as you.... but he has an automatic. Mmm, I would probably back the Si

Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. That doesnt even make sense, thats a far too general statement. For example, I am going to get into a fight with a 1 year old.. an infant. I know I am going to win, and indeed I shall!
