i cleared out the lights myself and it wasn't as hard as it mite seem. all you really have to do is take off the bumper, then heat the glue in case of the lights so it melts...i recommend using a blow dryer in order to heat the glue. since the glue was relatively new, i had little trouble opening the lighting case to snap out the orange part. some guy would've charged me $60 so me and my friends did it ourselves. it took about 3 hours, but it would've been alota faster if i didn't get some glue on the chrome.
I live in the 818 and I did my own clear corners. It took me and my friend like 3 hours to do the whole project. If you need tips or want someone to do it for you then drop me a email. mbenzclk@yahoo.com

i live right next to the city of pomona and if you're around there then i can take some time out and help you out... some dude from 2k1civic.com was alloffering to clear my headlights before i actually did it myself...he was asking for 50$!! Good thing i just took time out of my day (5-1/2 hours) and spent 5 bux on sillicone sealant and did it myself! saved me a good 45$ Its not that hard.
At first i thought it was gonna be EXTREMELY difficult and i might mess up but everything turned out good. The only thing you need to worry about is once you get the headlight apart (2 pieces) one of the pieces contains the chrome housing area which you NEED to take out in order to get to the orange piece thats displayed in the front.
Just make sure when you take out the CHROME housing piece that you DO NOT getANY of the black sillicone on it or else it messed up the shine big time and the chrome gets all ugly...on my first headlight i got some of the black stuff on it and the top part got all nasty(but you cant see that part from the outside when you put it back in ) so everything came out alright.
The second headlight came out perfect cause i knew what i was doing and i finished that one in half the time. Good luck.. Post any questions you have and we'll try to solve any problems you have.. Late!
Man this was my longest post ever hahahah

Heh, I could use any help possible Any tips (that I haven't already read would be appreciated. I've read like over 20 posts on clearing headlights, but I'm still kinda afraid.) It works on 2k2 Civic's too right? I have a 2002 Civic Ex Coupe 5-Spd. I have full access to the autoshop at school, with every too imaginable. And I have some latex gloves from work, but I'm still kinda skeptical on my own handywork I've never done anything to my car personally, besides add an air freshener Thanks in advance.
