ECU Software?

I want to get information feeding to my lap top off of a DX ecu. I wouldn't mind something along the line of HondaLogger.I've been on Hondata all night and found nothing, just the K series. Anybody know of anything.

Hey Yeah I'm still looking. I can't find cables either. Keep me posted if you find anything I'll do the same.

I still haven't heard back from these guys. I doubt I will as they are busy moving to another location. It is my understanding that the only way that this software works as a "front end" is to have a pre programed ECU from Hondata as the "backend". I could be wrong on this but a few other members from this site also mentioned that being the case.

However if money is no object: AEM offers an option at http://www.aempower.com/product_ems.asp

They have a demo download of their software too.

This solution would plug right into your ECU harness with no additional wiring but is pretty pricey at $1500.

$1500!!!! Haha I'll stick to just the gauges. Man do they include the laptop with that kinda cash Pretty sweet system though if I had that kind of money. I'm canadian I'd hate to see make that into cdn $$$ cash. So in short I guess nothing for now. I wonder if I send an email everyday to hondata maybe they'll flip ot and just make something haha

Thats cool! Do you think this is something specific to this guy or this shop? Or is he talking about something that may be available through all Meinekes?

I totally agree. There is no way I would spend this kind of cash either. I'd rather get a new paint job or some rims. To each their own though. As for Hondata I did get a quick brief response from Matt:

"At this time we have no applications for the 2001-2004 civics. "
