Maint Rq. Light
Maint Rq. Light
Yes I do know how to reset it...the Q is is it actually attached to any sensors? i ask this because it got 27,000 Km, but the light only came on once since i bought the car brand new...
i do a oil change every 5000km , so with 27,000 km it should've at least came on twice right?... this is why i asked if it is connected to any sensors... if it is not connected to anysensors.. what's the km interval for the light? cause i can't find my manual @ the m
oment

Page 64 in your manual.
Turn off the light just by holding your TRIP button for a couple seconds before turning your car on, then just keep holding it even when it starts, wait a bit (until it stops flashing), then just turn your car to the ON position (while still holding that trip button )then back to start, but you dont need to crank it.

yeah, Fly most likely jumped the gun after seeing the title of your thread and not reading it closely. I'm not 100% sure but the maint. light comes on at certain mileages, not a set # of intervals. I haven't driven enough miles (and can't remember) to see when the light comes on again after the initial 7k or 8k miles

It's sometime around 10,000 miles. . Telling you that you need a dealership maintenence. At first it'll just flash longer than normal, before eventually turning on and staying on until it's reset. I'm sure it's based on mileage, because I drive soo irregularly and it always comes on when it's getting ready to round off 10,000 miles. . I'm just over 36,000 so I'm expecting it again sometime soon . .
