Cold air intake help

Hey, im about to install a cold air intake on my LX. i dont know if it makes a difference between lx, or ex. my aem cai didnt come with one of those rubber hose tubes. its the one that connects to the intake manifold to the aem intake piping. im about to get a replacement tube from homedepot. can someone tell me the length of that tube? does it have to be a certain length to fit? the one at homedepot will probably be too long, so i need to trim it down a little. plz let me know, thanks

use your stock hose, it should be the same length, if not, bring the hose into home depot and show them that you need that but longer

you talkin about the breather hose? cuz if you are then thats just gonne be guess and check on the cutting...if your talkin about the breather hose it doesnt matter just as long as it connects and thats all it does no excess...or you can buy a breather filter put it on and then plug up the whole on the cai pipe

That is probably about 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 inches long should be suitable, but if it was not included, why don't you just call the supplier you got it from and tell them to replace it.
