v6 accord engine
To put a J engine in a Civic? I dunno... that thing takes up a lot of space. I bet it's heavy as hell, too. The one with the 6-speed carries the Accord across the quarter in 14 1/2 secs. You could seriously throw the weight distribution off if you pulled off putting a 3.0 V6 in a lil EM2.

If you haven't noticed by now, the K20 engines were actually meant for the 7th Gen Civic's engine bay.
If some one put a K24 engine into a civic, the weight distribution will be off. Even with a K20 engine, the weight is off. But of course the K20 engine does not weigh nearly the amout the K24 does. Its the same if you put a 94-97 accord engine in a 92-95 civic. Of course the prelude engine fits, but have you looked in the engine bay. The H22 takes up a little less room than a F20? (accord engine). Now a 6th gen civic has to shave and modify the engine bay for a H22 to fit, and then it barely fits. Its basically the same logic.

Anything can be done with money. But it will be expensive, throw off your weight ratio. And it will be an engine that has less parts out for it than a D series motor. If you are swapping an engine its because you want to swap it for a more popular more powerful motor...
