i just recently (thursday) put on an AEM sri and was wondering how loud its supposse to be? Ive heard everyone saying the intake is usually louder than the exhaust but i can barely hear mine, except when i start the car or turn it off...is this normal?

It won't be that much louder. When I installed my Injen SRI, revved the engine, it made a louder sound then with the stock air box, but it wasn't extremely loud. What you are hearing with yours is what its going to sound like for the duration of its life on your civic. As for it being louder than your exhaust, it will be at most a little louder from what I remember. I have an aftermarket cat-back and you can't even hear your engine over my exhaust.

should have got the K & N FIPK II it is a deeper sounding
and actually pulls harder. I had the AEM CAI and switched
over for better performance and it worked!

Don't know if it matters, but Civicskater drives an LX and Weaponx drives an ex. Would that make a difference?

You guys are right, at normal idle and easy driving it isnt loud, but saturday night i got close to 6500rpms in first and second and it was beautiful! Im not complaining though, all together it does sound really good

depends on wat kinda exhaust u have. does it really matter, u lookin for performance not ricey loud intake
