Angry Help! Problem With Removing Engine Oil Drain Plug?

OK, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CHANGE MY OIL FOR A WHILE NOW BUT HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL AT DOING IT BECAUSE I CAN'T GET THE OIL DRAIN PLUG LOOSE. WHEN I JACK MY CAR UP, I USE A SOCKET WRENCH TO THE DRAIN PLUG BUT IT WONT LOOSEN FOR S***T. WHAT DO I DO HERE, DO I NEED A DIFFERENT TOOL OR WHAT. I WANT TO CHANGE MY OWN OIL TO KEEP COST DOWN.

righty tighty, lefty loosey. Get a 1/2" socket wrench with a 17mm socket and just pull. you gotta lever on it a little. warm up the oil a little bit then try it. it helps.
