Manual conversion question.

Manual conversion question. Ive been searcing the site about the automatic to maunal connversion. According to the Honda dealer, the manual shift boot of the 2dr is different from the 4dr. I have a 4dr but the price is like $67 as opposed to $37 for the 2dr one. Does anyone know if theres a difference? Since i am changng the boot from an auto to a manual look shouldnt either consol piece fit?
