OEM side skirt brackets HELP
i just bought a pair of 2DR OEM side skirt (2nd hand from a member) but all 8 brackets are missing. can't find the seller. i called dealer today and they said i can't just order the brackets. it come in a whole kit. so what should i do ??????? does anyone know where could i buy the brackets??????????? or the hardware?????? PLEASE HELP
Other than the 8 brackets, you should have 6 metal clips as well (if I'm not mistaken).
I don't think you can get these brackets anywhere else. What do you mean you can't find the seller? What's his username?

i have the 8bolts and 2screws. does that mean i am f**ked??

Oops. I meant 4 attachment plates. . . is this the installation you were talking about? Click here.
I think without those brackets, the sides won't fit snug. Know what I mean?

that's the instruction i have. and i am missing the 8 brackets. just remember the seller's name. PM him, hope he will reply soon. but i don't think he have it or he would give it to me eariler. anyway. do you guys think home hardware will make something like this????
If you're referring to the plate clips (2 for the OEM skirts and 4 for the OEM Aero skirts) w/ the 3M tape then they can be obtained from the hardware store easily along w/ the 3M tape. I've seen similar stuff there that you can use, but if it's the brackets then it might be a little more difficult to get a pretty close match, still shouldn't be an issue. He should have sent you those brackets from the get go, he may not have since he might still be using them on his car for his new sides. Hopefully he gets your PM and sends them to you, cuz that sucks to have to go hardware store and take more time to install something that pretty easy to begin with, sorry to hear that man. Good luck...
Not sure. But I would definitely check out the home hardware store. It looks like something you can get from that kinda place. You may not find the exact same one [in size or shape], but something similar should be just fine.

damn. i am missing the plates as well (the 2 attachment plate on each side). i think the seller stole it of the street or something. that's why it doesn't come with the hardware. hey NorrinRadd, where could i get the plates?????
You can't get exact ones, but you can get similar ones at any large hardware store like Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. They usually come in long strips that will need to be cut (i suggest going w/ 4 plates and not two, one for the front and back on each side to ensure stability and no looseness since it will sag over time w/ just one on each side), just take your install instructions and someone there will be able to find you something similar. Make sure to pick up automotive 3M adhesive double sided tape as well. Again, the brakets are gonna be harder, but still doable, albeit a little ghetto (but who looks underneath the car anyhow).

Stop right there. Don't buy from the Dealer unless you want to get raped. I would contact Hondawerx.com I bought some brackets and bolts I needed from him, and you know what, they were like half of what the dealer was charging.
