rate my tails (LED conversion)
got some pics of my tail light conversion, let me know what you thinkFYI, shots were taken at dusk with park lamps only ... tried to take em with Brakes applied but the camera was getting too much light and wouldnt take a clear picture.
are they actual LED's, like infiniti's? or jsut those bulbs? If they're the bulbs, have fun getting harrassed by the cops. Every time I put mine back in I get pulled over in less than a week cause supposedly the light cant be seen from as far away. To me they look brighter, but apparently the have better "police vision"

they are the real thing.... I got the modules from a local highway saftey supply store here in vegas (the same people that sell the cops all their strobes and lightbars).... price per module is about $40+/- and didnt take but a couple of hours to fit in to the stock housing. and to answer the question about the LED bulbs... I have had them when they first came out on my ranger... and compared to those these are like stareing into the LED stoplights at an intersection.

naw, I would suggest you ask your local PD, but if your are using your stock lights there is noting they can say about it. laws read that you have to have red on the back of your car so other motoriist can tell which direction your traveling... not that they have to be lit up with any certain type of light... and besides. if thats what your worried about these are much brighter than incandesant bulbs and those cheap LED bulbs you can buy at pepboys
