The Problem W/rear Suspension Squeaking

I've read a couple of peoples posts and alot of 01+ civics have the rear squeaking problem. I also had the same problem and have got it fixed at a auto shop, not the dealership. the dealership says they fix it but its still comes out to be crappy and annoying once again. If you want to get rid of that nasty squeaking get your BUSHINGS replaced BUT NOT AT THE DEALERSHIP! they'er punks who replace your crap with the same crap that was causing the problems. anyways, that what fixed mine. let me know if this helps you and stops your car from that annoying squeaking.

What kind of bushings did the auto shop use as a replacement to the OEM ones? And how much did they charge you?

Nothing wrong with my suspension... was just curious about the special kick-*** bushings your autoshop put on yours... since you said the Honda dealers "replace crap with crap".

So if you can't find out any details about what the autoshop did, I'm not really sure how is that supposed to help other people... other than telling them to just take it to an autoshop?

I was also curious about how much you had to pay, since this is something that should have been covered for free by warranty. Maybe it was just your one dealer that was crap.

its supposed to help them with what the problem really is. did you read what i posted? no one knew why their suspension is messed up and i HELPED them by telling them what was wrong. and "crap for crap" means OEM for OEM. if your OEM bushing are messing why would replacing them wioth the same ones make a difference? when they replaced mine it still squeaked but when i took it to an auto shop and they replaced it there was no more squeaking. and who said i had kick *** bushings? the only difference is that they don't sqeak any more. i'm sure if you do research on some bushings you can find some that will fit our car. its not that hard.
