Revo SS in an 03 EX

Has anyone istalled the Revo SS in an 03 EX. I want to know if you have had any problems with being able to shift a short throw because the arm rest does not move. I am a bit concerned that I will have problems with being able to smoothly shift without always having the arm rest getting in my way. Any solutions/ideas from those that have attempted this.

The arm rest in the 03's is setup differently. I used to have it down alot in my 01, but it feels different now and it seems to take up way more space.

what difference would it make about the arm rest?? i mean, it's out of the way for long shifts with the OEM shifter, wouldn't it be better with the short shifter cuz it cuts down on the amount of room needed to shift?

True it is out of the way with the OEM Shifter, but that is because the shifter is as tall as the arm rest. Now what happens when you lower the top of the shifter by a couple of inches? All of a sudden you can't just glide along the top of the arm rest.

I just installed REVO SS in my 03 EX over the past weekend, along with upgrade bushings, and I have no problem with arm rest. The thing shifts perfect, absolutley worth the money and time i put into it. Statisfied. Thanx to CAP for the bushings, they work xellent !
And i dont think i fully understand how the arm rest can be a problem with shifting.
Our consoles are not like in Talon/Eclipse where you can lay your arm down and shift.
But if you feel lazy and dont feel like extending your arm to fully grab the shift ****, you can just put your arm on the arm rest and shift with tip of the fingers. Its that easy. I do it, and so far I never missed a gear.
