So in theory you could put them over your indiglo/reverse indiglos right??
Somebody should do that, seems like it would be tight. Somebody with rich parents should be a gunea pig(sp) for us working peeps

ya there pretty cool, you could do that as well but the cool part is you make them how u want them, you customiz the whole thing if you wanted put your logo or name or favorit pic...
I like the idea of making my own custom guage faces. That is why I have thought for a while that you could do something really wicked using duratrans. I was thinking you could remove the stock faces completely, then use a white(or other coloured) gel to diffuse the light from behind and lay duratrans over it with your custom design.
For it to be cost effective, you'd need to do multiples on a sheet. But once you had a template to work from, you could do up a bunch and sell them to make back you expendatures.
The custom ones on speedhut run you a pretty penny, but the duratrans ones would be mega cheaper... and not rely on a powered glow, since it would use the stock lighting.
The way I figure it based on the cost of the duratrans printing, you should be spending around $30 for a set of guages, vs $90 for the speedhut customs.
And you can do ANYTHING you want, as long as you can design it.
