Question for anybody with injen race division intake?

I am thinking about buying a injen race division intake for my 2k2 ex but i was wondering do i need a bypass valve for it so water and other crap wont enter the engine or is it not necassary. If it is will the bypass valve from aem intakes work on it. any help please.

2k2civicRAY is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes, AEM makes like 4 different sizes. Just get the 3 inch one. I don't think the bypass valve really does much good unless the filter is completely submerged in water. I've had my intake on for over a year now and no problems. Instead of the bypass valve I got the injen splash guard (same price) I have this on so that it covers the bottom of the filter so water just splashes on it instead of getting all over the filter. I've driven in some heavy *** rain and a few large puddles and the vic is still runnin strong. Just take it easy when you drive in those conditions.
