ok i jus got a speeding ticket in new mexico.heres my problem the speed limit was 75 my leg was falling asleep so i used the cruise control set it for 74 the cop said he clocked me at 84!?!?
my q's are: can our cruise control function go crazy and mess with the speedo like in my case it said 74 but it was goin 84?

2: i read here about a couple of months ago some guy with a celica on here posted many ways on how u can fight a ticket like asking for the calibrations test on the radar gun from the police station does any one have a link to it

man i wish there was a speed limit of 75 around here, most we got is 55, thats one method for battling a speeding ticket, and you could have asked to see the reading on the radar, if he was making it up to meet quota, then his gun said 74, just do anything you can think of to make it sound like it was either the officer bein an *** or the gun malfunctioned.

heres a few things i learned....ask if it was on a corner that he clocked you on. if it was then the radar gun will read innaccurately, also ask when the gun was last calibrated, it may be out of wack, ask if the officer is certified to use a radar gun and like already stated, you shoulda asked to see the reading.

hey guys thanxs for the advice, i was gonna fight it but i wont be in town for the next month and a half so my supervisor told me just to pay it since its only $65.

he also told me that since my license is ca and my insurance is from tx, that this wont show up on my license or my insurance. is that true?

That one you may have a problem with because a moving violation is a moving violation no matter what state the occurance takes place in. BTW where are you stationed in Tx?

got stopped passin deming it was mile marker 135 i think.
i havent seen u but i got a white 2 door with a cf hood with the sides painted white and eyelids. im normally jus go to ep fitness on edgemere off exit 28. really dont go anywhere durin the week and on the week ends i get out much unless i hit up the clubs
