I'm located in CA. I was wondering if any one knew if there was a limit to how many times a person can get cited for front window tint before they start to fine you or have some other type of penalty besides the regular "fix it" ticket? I just got my second ticket for my window tint, i heard on your third time they fine you?

anyone know anything about this?

Then how come the damn CHP's that i've asked said that after my third violation, it will no longer be a "fix it" ticket, but it will turn into some kind of fine. ???

i dont think you are correct ^ you must prove to the judge that you fixed the tint

isnt each time a fine? I have recieved I believe 4 tickets for my tint over several years, and each time the fine is $75. Its a fix it ticket, but you can either fix it or pay the $75. I just pay because it isnt a moving violation.

^^ for me, everytime i says that i have to fix it. I never had an option to just pay a fine
